Getting Started – Our First Session

Initial Interview.  Coaching is interactive and begins by asking what you would you like to accomplish through this process? If things go well, we next discuss the specific nature of the Coach-Client relationship. At that time we discuss costs or fees associated with the Coaching and agree on an appointment schedule. (This first conversation is always without cost.)

A typical schedule for coaching is two one hour sessions/month and several email interactions. Materials will be provided that will help you prepare for each session. However, YOU DRIVE THE SESSIONS, coaching is ALL ABOUT YOU. The Coach helps and empowers you to accomplish, be, or do what YOU want, not what the Coach wants.

Assessments. There are a number of tools available that can help you or your organization assess and understand themselves and the world around them and might be recommended.

Philosophy. God created you uniquely; Therefore, coaching should be approached pragmatically, asking the question “what works?”  and “what is the best solution given these circumstances?” By utilizing many coaching tools, drawn from Scripture and disciplines such as education, leadership training, communication theory, appreciative inquiry, business administration, as well as many other sources, Professional Executive Coaching with Phil Pledger will help you achieve your life or professional goals and embrace your Higher Calling.
